Why we built Riddle
We noticed something troubling. Millions of people were flooding ChatGPT with their deepest, most vulnerable questions — screenshots of text exchanges, relationship dilemmas, fears about their own behavior. "What did I do wrong?" "Is this reasonable?" "Am I being crazy?"
And what did they get back? Generic, sycophantic responses that echoed whatever they wanted to hear. Validation without wisdom. Agreement without insight. All while feeding the most intimate details of their lives into systems that store and learn from everything.
"By understanding ourselves deeply, we unlock how to become kinder to others, and in turn, to ourselves."
We built Riddle to be different. An AI that actually knows you — your history, your patterns, your growth — but keeps your thoughts mathematically private through end-to-end encryption. One that gives you wisdom, not just validation. That helps you see the other person's perspective, not just your own.
Because we believe the real magic of AI isn't making us feel good in the moment. It's helping us become the people we want to be.
