I lost my encryption key. Can you recover my data?

Unfortunately, no. Riddle uses end-to-end encryption, which means only you hold the key to your data. We cannot decrypt or recover it. This is by design — it's what keeps your data truly private.

How do I delete my account?

Open the app, tap the menu, go to Settings, and tap "Delete Account." This permanently removes all your data from our servers.

Is my data really private?

Yes. Your journal entries are encrypted on your device before they reach our servers. We literally cannot read them. Learn more on our Security page.

How do I log in on a new device?

Use the same email address to sign in. You'll receive a magic link to verify your identity. Your encryption key will need to be transferred to the new device — the app will guide you through this process.
